Product Safety & Legal Notice.

This legal notice applies to products sold by SniffLab.store, including candles, wax melts, diffusers, fragrance products, burners, matches, accessories and related home fragrance items.

Please read this notice carefully before purchasing or using any SniffLab product.

Product Use

All SniffLab products must be used only for their intended purpose and in accordance with any safety instructions, labels, warnings or care guidance supplied with the product.

Failure to follow safety instructions may result in fire, injury, damage to property, allergic reaction, irritation or reduced product performance.

Candle Safety

When using candles, always follow these safety rules:

· Never leave a burning candle unattended.

· Keep candles away from children and pets.

· Keep candles away from curtains, furniture, bedding, paper, clothing and all flammable materials.

· Place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

· Do not burn candles near draughts, open windows, fans or air movement.

· Do not move a candle while it is burning or while the wax is hot.

· Keep the wax pool clear of matches, wick trimmings and debris.

· Trim the wick before each burn where required.

· Do not burn a candle all the way to the base of the vessel.

· Stop using the candle when the remaining wax reaches the safety limit stated on the product label or when approximately 1cm of wax remains.

· Always extinguish candles safely. Do not use water to extinguish a candle.

Wax Melt and Burner Safety

When using wax melts or burners, always follow these safety rules:

· Use only with a suitable wax melt burner.

· Do not overfill the burner dish.

· Use with an appropriate unscented tealight where required.

· Never leave a burner unattended while in use.

· Keep away from children, pets and flammable materials.

· Do not move the burner while lit or while wax is hot.

· Allow wax and burner to cool completely before handling or cleaning.

· Do not add water or other substances to wax melts.

Diffuser Safety

When using reed diffusers, oil diffusers, waterless diffusers or other fragrance diffusion products, always follow product-specific instructions.

· Keep diffusers out of reach of children and pets.

· Avoid contact with skin, eyes, polished surfaces, painted surfaces, plastics, textiles and furniture.

· Wipe up any spills immediately.

· Do not ingest diffuser liquid, fragrance oil or wax.

· Keep away from heat, sparks, flames and direct sunlight unless the product instructions state otherwise.

· Use only in well-ventilated areas.

Allergens, Sensitivities and Ingredients

SniffLab products may contain fragrance ingredients, essential oils, aroma compounds, dyes, waxes, oils and other materials that may cause sensitivity or allergic reaction in some individuals.

Customers with known allergies, asthma, respiratory conditions, skin sensitivities, pregnancy-related sensitivities, medical conditions or concerns should review product information carefully before use and seek professional advice where appropriate.

If irritation, discomfort, breathing difficulty, headache, skin reaction or any sensitivity occurs, stop using the product immediately and seek medical advice if needed.

Where required, SniffLab products are supplied with relevant safety information, hazard labelling and allergen information in line with applicable UK product safety and classification requirements.

Customers must read and follow all product labels before use.

Colour, Scent and Product Variation

Our products are made, packed or finished in small batches where applicable. As a result, colour, finish, scent strength, wax appearance, packaging and presentation may vary slightly between batches.

Fragrance perception is subjective and can vary depending on personal preference, room size, temperature, ventilation, usage method and storage conditions.

Storage

Store SniffLab products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat sources, children, pets and flammable materials.

Improper storage may affect scent performance, appearance, burn quality or product safety.

Liability

SniffLab is not responsible for damage, loss, injury or adverse effects caused by misuse, failure to follow instructions, unsafe handling, incorrect storage, modification of the product, use with unsuitable accessories, or use for purposes other than those intended.

Nothing in this notice excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for defective products where applicable under UK law.
